My Sister, the Shard and Bob's Lobster

The beginning of the day was spent slaving over a hot computer.  Lunch was amazing with the most wonderful apple pie made with apples from our garden.

An excursion to Greenwich followed to see my sister, Helen and meet some of her colleagues.

Next off to the Shard for birthday drinks with some of my salsa buddies....

Then a wonderful surprise; we walked over to Borough Market and had our din at Bob's Lobster.

It's a van that serves three items and sparking wine.  I had Mac & Lobster which was sublime!

It was then off to Crazy Coqs Open Mic.  I sang  Learning the Blues.

It's a beautiful venue with a really good standard.

It is good to spend quality time with friends and it is nice to say, family.
