We were part of London Open a Day.
Charterhouse is a former Carthusian monastery founded in 1371 in central London. Since the dissolution of the monasteries in the 16th century the house has served as private mansion, a boys’ school and an almshouse, which it remains to this day. Andrew is the first North American to become a Brother since Sutton began his "bequest to the Nation" in 1611.

Boast
What the heck! I am going to; our special meal of the week: Sundy Roast.
Thought it would be too much to post a photo of desert, but it was a glazed brûlée topped with berry compote.
I was not in attendance though. I went AWOL and turned up at the People's Palace at Queen Mary's Universary to attend a Tea Dance. Rather splendid.....cha chaed my way around the floor with aplomb and with a rather beautiful young lady....
